Tip : Use the lid for measuring 1 cup
Yield: Makes 12 cookies
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Dan-D-Pak Golden Gingerbread Cookie Mix
- ½ cup cold butter, cut in pieces
- 4 Tbsp golden syrup
- 1 egg
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 F. Cover cookie sheet with a piece of parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, combine cookie mix with diced cold butter; use a pastry blender to cut in the butter until
the mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in the egg and golden syrup until well blended.
Use an ice cream scoop to drop cookie dough 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets, flattening them slightly with hand. Bake for 10 – 15 minutes or until golden brown. Watch them closely towards end of baking time as they darken very quickly.
Cool until cookies firm slightly. Transfer to racks and let cool completely.
