  1. Great crackers! So what’s the story behind the flags on the top of the package? They seem like a really random collection of countries…

    • Hi Jimmy,

The flags on the bag represents our global presence. We sell our rice crackers around the world and because of that fact we wanted an international look for this particular packaging.

I hope this answers your question.

      Have a good day.

      • Hey Ian!

Thanks for your reply! I was specifically wondering about the flag in the middle of the top row – green, yellow, and red, from top to bottom. My friends and I were looking online, and the only match we could find was the “Kurdish Parliament in Exile”… Is this intentional? Or a misprint?

Either way, it’s a great product. And an interesting political statement.

          • Hi Jimmy,

The green, yellow and red flag is the flag of Ethiopia. Ethiopia has modified their flag many times, so you may not have recognized it.

            Have a nice day,

  2. are the big round ones safe for my 8 month old baby to suck on and eat?

    • Hi Ashley,

I would recommend that you do not give rice crackers to your baby. As rice crackers are hard, I would wait until he/she has finished growing out her baby teeth.

      Have a nice day.

  3. Hello Dan-D-Pak team,

Your rice crackers have always been a favourite for a very long time but I’ve lately noticed that they are less glazed with seasoning (paler colour too – as you can probably tell I consume this product often enough to notice these things!) than they used to be, and perhaps as a result of this they are less savoury. Is this change to my staple snack a permanent feature (I hope not!), or is it just restricted to a series of batches?

    • Hi Chris,

We have two suppliers for rice crackers, one from Vietnam and one from Thailand. The one from Vietnam is a new supplier and the one from Thailand is our old supplier that we have used for many years. If you want rice crackers with our traditional taste, I recommend you look for our products that say specifically say “Product of Thailand”

      Have a nice day.

    • I’ve noticed this too. Despite the fact that they were one of my favourite snacks, I’ve stopped buying them because the new ones aren’t as good. Where can I get the good ones again?

      • Hi Christine,

Up until now, we have still been buying our rice crackers from the same supplier from Thailand.
We will look into this matter further to ensure quality in our products.
        Thank you for your comment.

      • I have been buying Dan-D-Pak’s Okaki rice cracker mix and these have the same flavourful quality that this page’s product used to have (the ones made in Thailand). The round flat orange crackers are still a vivid orange colour while the quality of their counterparts in the 500 gram bag are a pale orange with not as much flavour.

So if you can find it Christine, the “Okaki” mix is still the good taste we’ve come to expect from Dan-D-Pak rice crackers.

        • Celia Chung,

Thank you for investigating this matter to ensure top quality for your customers!

  4. I absolutely love these crackers and used to buy them at whole foods. They stopped carrying them so I started buying them by the case on Amazon. They have not been available on there for a long time. I have searched everywhere and tried what seems like hundreds of different crackers. I can not find anything! I live in Westland, MI. Where can I purchase these delectable little crackers?

    • Hi Nicole,

Trader Joe carries our rice crackers. We are currently working on restocking Amazon.
      Have a nice day!

  5. My nearest retailer started carrying the updated version of this item. I like the more compact packaging format, and more importantly the flavour is tremendously improved to the point that I think it is better than ever. EVERY piece of this snack is richly seasoned, just the way I like it. Thanks, and keep up this level of quality!

  6. These crackers are far too spicy. I don’t think they were always like this, but now I can barely handle a small handful before my mouth begs for mercy. I used to eat these by the bag. This one will last for the rest of the year.

    • Hi Ted,

Thank you so much for taking your time to comment. The formulation of the rice crackers has been revised and the improved version will hit the shelves towards the end of the summer.

      Thank you,
      Dan-D-Pak marketing team

  7. I recently opened a pack of these rice crackers and immediately was hit with a rancid smell. It’s my first time trying these and hope it was just a bad batch…

    • Hi Priscilla

Sorry to hear that. Please provide us a photo of the product and the lot number from the bag in order for us to help you with this further. You can direct your response here or to info@dandpak.com

      Thank you!

  8. I see that other products “may contain traces of peanuts” but these do not. Is there a reason for it (different factory line or processing factory?) or is it not true? Just wondering as we have a severely allergic son. Thanks!

  9. Hi,

I have been eating your rice crackers for a number of years. Every one out of 100 bags I may encounter one tiny crumb of a burnt or extra crispy rice cracker. It is extremely rare but I usually save it until the very end. The taste is mind blowingly good. Is there any possible way to purchase a whole bag of them as I am guessing they are most likely discarded as a factory reject?

    Thank you for your time.

  10. I’ve noticed that the ingredients list for your delicious rice crackers shows sugar as the 3rd ingredient, yet the nutritional info shows 0 grams of sugar. Is this a misprint?

  11. Hello,

On the bag there is no may contain warning, but I noticed other Dan D Pak products contain peanuts. Is there any issue with cross contamination with nuts or are these safe for someone with a peanut allergy to eat? Thank you.

  12. Where in the Vancouver area can I get these? I’ve been to Buy-Low, Canadian Tire, Killarney Market… no one seems to be carrying these or any other variety of rice crackers. Please advise.

Do you sell retail at your plant in Richmond?

    • Carol,

This is your lucky day! You can find this delightful treat at your local London Drugs.

  13. Used to buy rice creackers at Costco, but they stop carrying them ages ago. I noticed them on the Walmart site, but they don’t seem available. Is there anywhere in the GTA that sells your rice crackers. None of the Asian grocery stores don’t carry them either.
