  1. Are the chestnuts supposed to be soft? We bough themt and thought they would be hard. Are they still good? The packaging says “ready to eat. Maybe they just need to be roasted? They are your organic ones. Thank you,Kathlyn

      Our Dan-D Organic Chestnuts are soft because they are cooked in steam and ready to eat. You may be thinking of raw chestnuts, which are a little harder.
